Monitors

Get new restaurants by email, automatically.

A Monitor is a saved search. Set your states, cities and lead types once, and DineTracer emails you the restaurants that newly match, with their details attached. Repeats and empty runs cost nothing.

Free to start. No credit card.

New filings arrive every day. Checking for them shouldn't be your job.

Agencies publish new licenses, permits and inspections on their own schedules. Checking each one for your territory takes time, and it's easy to miss a week.

A Monitor checks for you. Every time we pull new filings, each Monitor looks for restaurants that newly match its filters and sends them to you.

How Monitors work

Any lead type, any filter

Restaurants (pre-open, just opened and open) and permits, with the same filters as the lists.

Only what's new

A Monitor sends each restaurant once, never the same lead twice.

Your schedule

Every 4 hours, daily or weekly.

You set the size

Choose the most leads one email can carry, from 10 to 500.

In your inbox or your CRM

Each email carries a CSV. Add a webhook URL and we also send the new leads as JSON.

Pay only for new leads

Free to create. Each new lead a monitor emails you costs 25 credits ($0.50), the same as unlocking it, and you set the most leads per email. No charge when there's nothing new. Leads you already own are free.

Monitors find new restaurants. Updates follow the ones you own.

A Monitor emails you restaurants that newly match a saved search. Restaurant updates are different: when a restaurant you already unlocked opens, or gets a new phone, website, hours or owner contact, we email you what changed. Updates are free, and you choose every 4 hours, daily, weekly or off in Settings.

Where the data comes from

Built on public recordsEvery lead starts from a government record: a liquor-license filing, a building or health permit, or a business registration. Each one names the agency it came from. We add details from Google business listings and the business’s own website.
Owner contact when a filing names oneWhen a public business-registration filing lists an owner or registered agent, the lead can include their phone and email, which may be personal. A data provider does the matching. Numbers on Do-Not-Call lists are left out.

Questions

What does a Monitor cost?
Free to create. Each new lead a monitor emails you costs 25 credits ($0.50), the same as unlocking it, and you set the most leads per email. No charge when there's nothing new. Leads you already own are free.
Will I get the same restaurant twice?
No. A Monitor sends each restaurant once.
What if I run out of credits?
The Monitor holds its deliveries until you add credits, and shows why on your Monitors page. Nothing is charged while it's held.
Can I send the leads to my CRM?
Yes. Add a webhook URL to a Monitor and we send the new leads to it as JSON, as well as by email.
Which states do you cover?
The Restaurant Database (liquor licenses) covers California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois (Chicago only), Massachusetts (Boston only), New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and the District of Columbia. Early leads (pre-opening filings, build-out permits and new food-service licenses) add Delaware, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina and Tennessee. The map on our home page shows what we have in each state.
Where does the data come from?
Public government records: liquor-license filings, building and health permits, and business registrations. We add details from Google business listings and the business's own website. When a public business-registration filing names an owner or registered agent, a data provider matches that person to a phone number and email address, which can be personal. Numbers on Do-Not-Call lists are left out. We don't scrape LinkedIn, social networks or people-search websites.
