Reach new restaurants before they open.

DineTracer turns public liquor-license, permit and health filings into restaurant leads you can call. Depending on the filing, that’s days to months before the doors open.

A full walkthrough of DineTracer: finding restaurants that just filed to open, unlocking their contacts, and getting new leads by email.

Every lead comes from a government filing.

An unlocked lead gives you the business name, operator, address, license type and filing date. You also get posted hours, phone and website when they’re public. When a public business-registration filing names an owner or registered agent, you get their contact details too, so you can call the owner directly.

Search and filter for free. Unlock only the leads you want.

Restaurants file paperwork weeks or months before they open.

Anyone can buy a list of restaurants that are already open. DineTracer reads the filings a restaurant makes before it opens, so you can reach the owner while they’re still setting up.

DineTracer Permits: restaurant build-out permits with a filter panel on the left (state, city or county, timing, project type), New to you, Yours and All tabs, and a table of permits with row checkboxes.
Pre-open comes before Just opened. Pre-open leads haven’t opened yet. Just opened leads are opening now or opened recently. A filing doesn’t guarantee a restaurant will open, and any opening window we show is an estimate.

Build a call list, then get new leads by email.

DineTracer POS Opportunities: a ranked call list of restaurants with no supported POS found on a recent check, with a filter panel on the left (state, city, license date, owner contact) and the matching count, priority mix and unlock summary.

POS Opportunities: a ranked call list

POS Opportunities is a ranked call list of restaurants with no POS on their website. Filter by state, city and license date, then export to CSV. Each row says why the restaurant made the list.

DineTracer POS & Tech Lookup: restaurants we've checked for POS, ordering, delivery and reservation tools, with a filter panel on the left, New to you, Yours and All tabs, and partly hidden names.

POS & Tech Lookup

See which POS, online-ordering, delivery and reservation tools a restaurant uses, checked from its website. It’s a separate product from the Restaurant Database. “No POS detected” means we found no POS online. The restaurant may still have one.

DineTracer Monitors: active monitors, leads delivered and recent emails, a filter panel on the left, and a table of saved monitors, each with Open as search, edit, pause and delete.

Monitors

Save a search once, with the same filters as the list. A Monitor emails you the new matching leads with a CSV attached, as often as every 4 hours. Free to create; 25 credits per new lead, and you set the most leads per email.

DineTracer Map view: search a ZIP code, city or address; shaded areas show leads you haven't unlocked and black pins show leads you own.

Map

See where new restaurants are opening. Locked leads show as shaded areas. Your unlocked leads show as exact pins.

We tell you when your restaurants change.

When a restaurant you unlocked opens, or gets a new phone, website, hours or owner contact, we email you what changed. It’s free for every restaurant you’ve unlocked. Choose every 4 hours, daily, weekly or off.

Built for teams that sell to new restaurants.

A new restaurant sets up most of its vendors before opening day. DineTracer helps you call while that’s still happening.

Where the data comes from

Every lead traces back to a public record from a named agency. The map shows where we have data today. The number on a state is how many restaurants filed to open there in the last 90 days.

Built on public records. Every lead starts from a government filing. We add details from Google business listings and the business’s own website. We don’t scrape LinkedIn, social networks or people-search websites.

What we show. We show what the restaurant filed and when. We don’t guess what they’ll buy.

Owner contact. When a public business-registration filing names an owner or registered agent, a data provider matches that person to a phone number and email address, which can be personal. We only show a match we can tie to the business. Numbers on Do-Not-Call lists are left out. Please verify before you reach out.

Martin Vasquez, founder of DineTracer

Hi, I’m Martin. I built DineTracer.

I’m a solo founder. I built this because I kept seeing vendors lose good restaurant accounts by finding out too late. Everyone sells to restaurants that already exist. Very few reach them the week they file to open, when there’s no incumbent to beat. So I built a way to read those public filings as soon as they’re published.

It’s just me right now. If a lead looks off or you want a state I don’t cover yet, email me directly and I’ll reply.
